My name is Marijn and I am currently working as a Junior HR Consultant. What I find interesting about my job are the different cultures from different countries. I grew up in Germany and later moved to the Netherlands. I know a transition from one country to another can be very difficult or even frustrating, so my goal as a Junior HR Consultant is to make the transition from one country to another as smooth as possible.

In my spare time I enjoy socializing with my friends, going to the pub or a festival. I also like to go to the gym or taking a walk through the city. Furthermore, at the moment I am still attending college. I’m currently studying Business Administration and hope to grow in this business when I’m finished.
I am happy to explain more about our typical work processes at ThisWorks. We typically commence our day at 8:30 am by reviewing the emails received the evening or night before and strategizing for the day ahead. At 9:30 am, we convene for our daily sunrise meeting with the EOR front-office to outline the day’s agenda and, if necessary, collaborate on any pending cases. Following the meeting, we immerse ourselves in our tasks. By 12:30 pm, we take a lunch break, gathering with the entire office to share a meal and exchange updates on our personal lives, discuss current trends, and more. After our lunch break, we return to work until 5 pm.
Teamwork and collaboration are fundamental to our daily work processes. Throughout the workday, we consistently collaborate on various projects, ensuring a seamless workflow. This collaborative approach allows us to efficiently handle tasks and address challenges as they arise. By working together, we capitalize on each team member’s strengths, contributing to the overall success of our daily endeavors.
